Service levels (SLA)

Effective 2026-10-26

This page lists the standards we run gravex chat by. Read it together with the Terms. The uptime figure is an operating target with no compensation attached; the backups, retention and notice periods are run exactly as written below.

1. Uptime target

The monthly uptime target is 99.5%. Over a 30-day month that allows about 3 hours 36 minutes (216 minutes) of downtime.

The service is free, so this is not a guarantee with credits or compensation if we miss it. It is an operating target the operator tries to meet. That is consistent with Section 7 of the Terms, which says availability is not guaranteed.

2. Data retention

Messages are kept until the app (you) deletes them. The engine does not pick a period and delete old messages automatically.

After you delete an app and run "permanent delete", its users, rooms and messages are erased and cannot be recovered. The profile of a user the app has withdrawn is cleaned up after the app's retention window (30 days by default).

3. Backups

We take a disk snapshot of the server that holds the database once a day (every day at 06:00 KST). So in the worst case up to the previous 24 hours of data can be lost.

We recommend keeping important data yourself with the export below.

4. Export

At any time you can download the whole app as a single NDJSON file, from the console export button or by calling GET /v1/export with a secret key. It contains users, rooms, members, messages, reactions, read positions and attachment metadata. The attachment files themselves are in your own storage.

5. Price changes

Any paid plan or price change is announced on the pricing page and by email to your account at least 90 days before it applies. Usage in apps you have already built does not become paid without that notice.

6. Shutting down

If we shut the service down, we announce it at least 180 days ahead and keep the export available for that whole period.

7. Outages and contact

Send questions and outage reports to admin@gravex.app.

There is no separate status page. We handle outages as soon as we confirm them, and an outage that runs long or affects data is reported by email to the affected accounts. We do not promise a response time.

8. Who runs it

gravex chat is run by GravEx. The chat in three services the operator built itself, Coinsect (coinsect.io), EveryMaple (everymaple.com) and Yeogi Eolma (real.gravex.app), runs on this engine every day. If the engine stops, the operator's own services stop too, so the operator has the same stake as you.

9. Changes

If this page changes, we publish the new version here with its effective date.
